"A Higher Loss" is the first single from Swedish band Emerald Parks upcoming second album, due September 2008, and the first to be released by AF-Music (Germany).
It’s been four years since Emerald Park released their first album - the Americana sounding "Sadness Within". This autumn they release their second album. The musical influences has changed and now the sound of Emerald Park reflects the band members taste in music. If you listen carefully you may hear influences from band such as Stars, New Order, Death Cab For Cutie, Arcade Fire, Pulp and Ride.
Emerald Park also contribute "A Higher Loss" to a new compilation that came out May 27 on US label 272 Records entitled "Riot on sunset 11". They'll also have the track "Lights of Sunday" included on the album "Acoustica 11" comp, due out June 10.
