Back in 1982 a song about a walk in a summerrain was released by a popular Swedish band. Music life in Sweden was by then divided into two groups, almost like the race between Blur-Oasis and Beatles-Rolling Stones. I was a child at that time but grew up with those bands. If I had to choose sides in these battles I’d chosen Beatles and Blur. I would also have chosen this band, but please don’t tell anyone. I can’t disguise that I’m bit attracted to the nostalic lyrics that the band tend to write. 
In July I heard this song the radio and came up with the idea for the lyrics to "We Wasted All Our Memories" which was by then in the process of being recorded. 

We Wasted All Our Memories is the the sophomore co-op single by Emerald Park, Danish Daycare and The Lonely Sasquatch. The tempo is higher this time and the song almost has a dance-feel to it. The emotional mood follows its precursor though - the Nordic melancholy which is signified by a nostalgic hopefulness.

The song was recorded at A Place To Mourn by Mattias (The Lonely Sasquatch). The instruments were played by Mattias, Tobias, Daniel and their common friend Linus Lindvall. Daniel (Danish Daycare) did the mixing and Carl Granberg did the mastering.
